Startup instructions for using NVU with an Anthem web hosting account 1. Download and Install the NVU application onto your PC. Download the latest version of NVU from www.nvu.com (follow the downloads link at the top of the page and from "binaries" select the full installer for your operating system - this will usually be Windows). 2 .Start NVU and choose "edit Sites"
3. Type in the details for your site: Use the following details: (replace mydomain.org.uk with the domain name you have registered for your website) - Site Name: Anything that makes sense to you.
- HTTP address: http://www.mydomain.org.uk
- Publishing address (or FTP address): ftp://ftp.mydomain.org.uk/www (the ftp://ftp is correct!!)
- Username: The username provided to you by Anthem
- Password: The password provided to you by Anthem (We recommend you also select the "save password" option).
- Select OK when done.
4. Double click on your Site Name. This is listed in the left hand pane (You need to have an internet connection at this point). 5. Double click on the html file representing the page you wish to edit - The page will download and load up in the right hand pane; - Edit the page as required. 6. Save the changes to your website by choosing the "Publish" button from the toolbar.
